Dutch Blockchain Coalition
The Dutch Blockchain Coalition is the place where governmental bodies, the commercial sector and centres of expertise are involved in the decentralised organisation of digital infrastructure – a place where service providers can meet up to carry out research, set the strategic agenda and develop and scale up use cases together, as well as exchanging knowledge and experience. At the same time, this will create the foundations for the development of blockchain talent in the Netherlands.
The need for a nationwide coalition
The Dutch Blockchain Coalition is a public-private initiative of Top Team ICT, under the auspices of the Dutch Digital Delta programme. Blockchain is seen as a potential source of trust, well-being, prosperity and security for the public, for society and for businesses. The coalition aims to create the conditions for reliable and socially accepted blockchain applications.
