AI & blockchain mission to Singapore with Minister Raymond Knops

From 11 to 15 November, the leading Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) and the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) will be held simultaneously. Last year SWITCH and the SFF received over 57,000 representatives from governments, industry and research institutes from 130 countries.


On 21 June 2019, during the DBC Conference, several Dutch companies and knowledge institutions signed a partnership with the Dutch government. The DBC orchestrated the bringing together of the various parties and the Partners for International Business Programme (PIB), Blockchain Solutions Netherlands-Singapore makes this partnership possible. All parties involved in this partnership will be present in Singapore from 10 to 15 November.

The partnership is aimed at bringing together the knowledge and experience of both countries in the field of blockchain ecosystems and working together towards global blockchain applications and solutions. The aim is also to improve the competitive position of the Dutch blockchain sector in the areas of logistics & infrastructure, smart cities, digital health, and government services.

The Dutch Blockchain Coalition (DBC) coordinates the combined organizations within the PIB cluster and consisting of Rabobank, TNO, Ledger Leopard, Kryha, Unchain.io, The Hague Security Delta. Cooperation partners are ICTU and Deltares.

The Rijksdienst Voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) and the Dutch embassy in Singapore are involved in the public sector. The ministries of Foreign Affairs, of Economic Affairs and Climate, of Justice and Security, of Infrastructure and Water Management are also involved.
