Triall joins the Dutch Blockchain Coalition as new partner

The Dutch Blockchain Coalition (DBC) welcomes Triall as her new partner. Triall brings together Web3 technologies and clinical research. The company’s mission fits in well with the Health & Care theme, which the DBC recently started with theme-lead Nicky Hekster.

Clinical research plays a crucial part in the development of new medicine by testing these for their safety and efficacy in patients. Over the past decades, clinical research has become increasingly complex due to a growing amount and variety of data and electronic systems. In addition, clinical trials are increasingly taking place outside the hospital, so-called ‘decentralized trials’ in which patients can participate via their smartphone or wearable.

As a result of these trends, many research professionals experience a lack of operational oversight and growing uncertainty about the integrity and authenticity of research data. This has a negative impact on the efficiency and reliability of the development of new medicine.

Triall uses blockchain and Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) technologies to secure clinical trial data and promote system interoperability. The company offers a platform of blockchain-integrated software solutions for decentralized clinical trials, including software for remote data capture, patient monitoring, and wearable integration. Triall’s solutions make clinical trial data tamper-resistant and enable secure and efficient integrations between the many isolated systems and parties involved in clinical trial processes.

Hadil Es-Sbai, Co-founder and CEO Triall: “Our mission is to enable a future of smarter, safer, and more-efficient clinical trials. We look forward to further identifying and developing the opportunities for blockchain in the healthcare sector together with the DBC and its partners.”
