Results of the Biochemistry Innovation Mission to Brazil (Digital Product Passports)

In December 2023, Yvo Hunink, Program Lead for Digital Product Passports, participated in an Innovation Mission in Brazil. Throughout the week, together with various stakeholders from the public and private sectors, they explored the biochemical industry.

In the transition to a climate-neutral and circular economy, bio-based resources play a central role. Bio-based resources can replace primary fossil resources and mineral deposits in the following sectors: the chemical industry, construction, and the production of fuels for air and maritime transportation.
